When it comes to planning your wedding, few decisions are as lasting as choosing your photographer. Long after the last glass is raised and the final dance is done, your photos are what remain — the tangible memories of your incredible day.
That's why I can't emphasie enough how important it is to do thorough research, ask all the questions you have, read reviews, and most importantly, connect with your photographer’s vibe and style. Photography isn't a one-size-fits-all service. It's personal, emotional, and deeply connected to your unique story.

Factors That Shape Your Wedding Photography
A lot of different elements come into play that make your wedding photography truly yours. Things like:
Venue location and style – A grand countryside estate photographs differently than a chic city rooftop.
Décor and atmosphere – Your chosen aesthetic can hugely influence the tone of your images.
Time of day – Morning, golden hour, or nighttime all bring a different mood to your photos.
Timeline and structure – A relaxed, unhurried day often results in more natural, joyful images.
Weather – Believe it or not, cloudy skies or a bit of drizzle can actually make for some of the most breathtaking photos!
All of these elements shape the story your photographer will tell through their lens. That’s why it’s so important to not only love what you see in their portfolio but also to feel aligned with the way they capture moments.

Trusting the Process and the Photographer
Once you've found a photographer whose style resonates with you, trust them! Take their advice when it comes to structuring your timeline, choosing photo locations, and even building in time for those beautifully candid moments. We photographers have seen hundreds of wedding days unfold — we know what small changes can make a world of difference.
I always recommend connecting with what you genuinely see and feel — and then going for it. Trust your instincts when choosing who will be by your side, capturing one of the most emotional days of your life.

My Approach: No Pressure, Just Connection
I never believe in hard selling or over-advertising myself to prospective couples. Instead, I always keep my door open — for a chat, a coffee, a walk-through of my work, and most importantly, listening to you. I love learning about your day, your vision, your priorities, and your expectations. Every couple is unique, and getting to know you helps me understand how to best document your story.
Whether it’s answering your questions, offering tips for a smooth timeline, or simply being there to share ideas, my goal is always to help you feel informed, confident, and excited about your decision — whatever that may be.
Because at the end of the day, choosing a wedding photographer isn’t just about the photos. It’s about connection, trust, and finding someone who truly gets you.
